At 6:36 this morning in Kyiv, air raid sirens blared, signaling the launch of at least two MiG-31K jets, followed by the announcement of incoming Kinzhal missiles. With light clouds over the city, the familiar sounds of air defense systems soon echoed as Ukraine’s armed forces worked to intercept the attack after enduring hours of overnight drone assaults across the country.
While the missiles themselves did not land direct hits, falling debris posed a lethal threat. Four districts were struck, with the Holosiivskyi district suffering the most damage. Tragically, a 53-year-old man lost his life, dozens were injured, and several remain hospitalized.
The foreign ministry reported that the strike caused damage to six embassies in the affected area, including those of Albania, Argentina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Palestine, and Portugal. Nearby homes and businesses were also heavily damaged. Residents quickly began clearing the wreckage while emergency crews secured the area, extinguished a gas leak fire, and removed destroyed vehicles from the streets.
This is not an escalation—it’s Russia’s daily terrorism. Night after night, Russia unleashes swarms of Iranian Shahed drones across Ukraine, targeting and killing again and again.
