We were all drawn to the horror of another massive mass grave in the Kharkiv Oblast town of Izyum after the liberation of the region by Ukrainian forces in September 2022. As the Russian were driven further south east to the area of Lyman, aid workers, journalists, human rights investigators and others came to the town that went through so many horrors. We will document as many resources as possible in addition to our own on the ground coverage both past and future. Your support for this investigative journalist project is invaluable. It can be in form of contributions through the donation page if you wish or through your participation in the project. There are hundreds of people who need their stories told who were killed and buried in the forest just outside the town along Shakespeare Street, and each of those deserves a resting place in the human record.
Likewise, and intentionally separate, are the accountability demands including names of commanders and OSINT collection on these war criminals. Citing sources will be mandatory and well vetted for sound structure.
Thank you.
